CORP Q & A

How to enrol

CORP: Questions and Answers

Q1: What type of organisation would be best suited to using your services?

A: Organisations that relies on teamwork and abilities of others to help get set tasks done, whether they are in a stressful, physical demanding or mentally demanding environment. Corporations that rely on a network of people regardless whether they are in their office or in different departments to be all working together with a common goal and that’s to complete the task or mission statement, together using the strengths and weaknesses of the team dynamics.

Q2: What’s your preference, do you work from a specific location or does a client come to you?

A: Generally for events we would use their location or nominate a location that will be useful for both of us, our preference is outdoor facilities for physical activities, weather permitting. CORPfitness also caters for indoor programs. We recommend locations that detach people from the office or working environment so they can learn to relax and enjoy fresh surroundings and learn to embrace new ideas and not resist them…

Q3: Does CORPfitness cater for different fitness levels?

A: Definitely, our experience in group training, team building and wellness programs, CORPfitness understands that everyone’s has a different fitness level, so that’s where our skills come in, we can set different levels within the group to cater for different fitness levels by using Team Pairing Systems (TPS) that can be as simple as pairing a fitter person with a not so fit person to help them work as a small team within the larger team to help each other across the line, or people of similar levels of fitness work together to achieve the set tasks by working as hard as each other…..

Q4: Can you give me an example of what someone might expect on a first training session versus a second training session ?

A: Okay, first session will be more team orientated, people are little bit out of their comfort zones on the first sessions if they haven’t experienced these type of activities before, also not knowing different people they are working with or what their expectations are, so I guess its more about bonding and getting people to understand each other. Then the second session, starts expanding to where they start are working with other people on a more I guess intimate level, where they may be in pairs of two or pairs of four as opposed to one large group.

Q5: Why are your CORP Activities important?

A: Okay, I guess there are several areas where Corporate busiesses could benefit by simply reducing some health issues that impact on business productivity. Consider the physical wellbeing improvements of a colleague or an employee. A fitter / focussed employee can provide a better service by learning to work better under stressful conditions. Benefits include a possible reduction in absenteeism and other health related issues.

On a psychological outlook, benefits include; the ability to maintain productivity under stressful environments.

On a camaraderie side of things, nothing beats morale. CORPfitness programs build morale!
